Midlands Battle Of The Bands
2010
This competition is aimed at all indie and soft rock bands in the Midlands and surrounding areas. And will be held at The Golden Cross Coventry starting on 5th June 2010.
We have coverage from national press resources such as BBC WM, BBC C&W, BBC Leicester, Mercia FM, Touch FM and are in negotiations with various other media outlets for sponsorship and endorsements.
There are a potential 48 slots on this competition of which nearly 30 have been filled, we will have a confirmed allocation up shortly with all the entrants names.
There will be 12 Qualifiers, 2 Semi-Finals and 1 final.
The semi-finalists and finalists will be interviewed and have a song from their EP played on the radio.
The prizes for the winner of this competition are as follows:
(currently undetermined) Number of hours rehersal with Blitz Sounds Ltd.
(currently undetermined) Number of hours recording with Blitz Sounds Ltd.
100 copies of the bands EP/ Album with full artwork in a plastic wallet.

Posters and flyers of the band to be handed out during gigs/ EP sales.
Interview on Radio.
